Life isn’t just about being successful.
Life isn’t all about work or making money. Life is about purpose, passion, and relationships.
Some people probably think I have a successful life in Australia. I thought that too. However, I was wrong! Making a lot of money or having a good business doesn’t mean I’m successful.
I chose to be a real estate agent after I moved here to Australia. I thought that was the quickest way to make money and I did. In one year, I had the title of International Marketing Director and after two years I became a sales trainer and manager. Is that incredible for someone who didn’t know much English or real estate four years ago? Actually, that was the only thing I did. Everything I talked about was just real estate and business.
I thought I was a good husband, father, and friend. I was not. The only thing I had been doing was trying to be successful and make money. I almost lost everything important.
The reason my wife and I decided to come back to Australia was because we wanted to raise our family here. We enjoyed our life in Taiwan. We liked to talk about everything even though she didn’t understand me 100% at the time. We wanted children but she only wanted to have children here.
I have always known my purpose and passion but have never done it until now. I’ve also started trying to be a better husband and having a good relationship with my family again.
What if we only focus on making money in our life?
Can we still have the life we want?

We all have our own answers but we also make excuses to avoid doing what we really want to do.
Life isn’t just about being successful. Life is about being present, grateful and joyful, having a purpose you would like to pursue, a passion you always have and good relationships with people you love.
